Filling the Gap | Gap Year Consulting Website
A modern, responsive WordPress website built with Elementor for a gap year consultancy. The site serves as a resource hub and service portal, helping students and families navigate the complexities of planning a transformative gap year through intuitive navigation and clear calls to action.
Overview:
"Filling the Gap" is a dedicated consultancy platform founded by Nicole Dhar to guide students through the process of designing a personalized gap year. The primary goal of the website was to transform a complex, overwhelming planning process into a streamlined, approachable digital experience.
My Role:
I was responsible for the full website development, translating the brand’s mission of "structured growth" into a functional and visually engaging web presence. Using WordPress as the CMS and Elementor for front-end design, I focused on creating a clean, professional aesthetic that appeals to both students and parents.
Key Features & Implementation:
Custom Design with Elementor: Built a fully custom, mobile-responsive layout that maintains brand consistency across all devices.
Service-Oriented Architecture: Developed distinct sections for the "Brainstorm, Plan, and Finalize" workflow, ensuring potential clients understand the consultancy process immediately.
Dynamic Resource Hub: Created organized categories for "Where to Go" and "What to Do" to act as an educational library for users.
Lead Generation & Conversion: Integrated strategically placed "Free Consultation" and "Book Appointment" calls-to-action (CTAs) to drive client inquiries.
Interactive Data Visualization: Implemented an "Impacts" section using animated counters to showcase success statistics from gap year alumni, building social proof and credibility.
Social Media Integration: Integrated live Instagram feeds to keep the site content fresh and connected to the brand’s social community.
The Result:
A high-performing, user-friendly platform that effectively communicates the value of gap year counseling while providing a seamless booking experience for the client.
